The application has been made available for download exclusively to iPhone users for a low fee. The Easter Bunny Tracker will allow users to track the Bunny’s movements through the use of a radar map. There has been speculation on the internet as to whether or not NORAD would provide an Easter Bunny tracker much like the one that they do for the arrival of Santa Claus at Christmas. These reports have not been confirmed.

There are multiple websites popping up like carrots that allow children to send email and postal letters to the Easter Bunny. Another website called Track the Easter Bunny promises to provide a radar map coverage much like the one NORAD provides for Santa. The site appears leaves parents curious however as it is not yet fully up and running.

New Apple CEO Tim Cook is expected to reveal the new iPhone at the event, along with information about the new iPhone and iPad operating system, iOS 5.

Official news of the product has remained a company secret, but it is now rumored that the company will unveil the newest version of the iPhone at a media event that they are holding on September 7. Presently, many experts are expecting they will announce the iCloud iPhone, which should give the phone far more power and functionality that it ever had before.

While other companies have created phones to compete with the iPhone, Apple’s dominance in the industry only seems to be growing. A recent poll has stated that about 80 percent of global smart phone consumers would want to have the iPhone 5, if it was to come out soon.

Popular video game platforms for today’s gamers include the Sony Playstation 3, the Microsoft Xbox 360, and mobile games from smartphones.

However, personal computers may have had the most significant influence on personal electronics. The Special Computer APL Machine Portable was the starting point for home computers, but IBM’s IBM 5100 helped open the floodgates. Personal computers are crucial for numerous tasks in contemporary society, and hundreds of manufacturers exist. The IBM 5100′s descendants include large desktop units, lighter laptops, and even mobile computers like smartphones and tablets.

High-Tech Advances From Simple Roots

Apple raised the ire of many developers recently when it instituted a new policy of demanding a 30 percent share of all revenue raised from apps purchased for Apple products. In addition, developers could not allow for alternative means of payment in order to avoid the new surcharge; all purchases were required to go through the app itself.

The new app will allow users to purchase any of Amazon’s digital products through the internet. Initially, it will only be available for users with the Safari web browser, Apple’s custom product, and the Google Chrome browser. Additional browsers will be supported in the future.

Amazon launches Cloud Reader‎

Research in Motion has struggled to compete against its more established competitors and has been losing market share as consumers increasingly gravitate towards the Apple iPhone and phones using the open-source Android operating system, designed by Google.

With this latest launch, Research in Motion is hoping to reverse the tide that has already consumed cell phone heavyweights like Nokia, which has seen its market share stagnate for the better part of a decade.

Although the BlackBerry has always been more popular in the corporate environment relative to the consumer market, Research in Motion is not conceding the battle without a fight.

The company is focusing on making its newest smartphone more powerful, adding a new processor that speeds up the phone’s performance considerably. Internet browsing is also faster on the new device, although the phone’s browser still does not support Adobe Flash, the technology that powers much of the video content of the web.

Research in Motion also expects to launch additional models in the coming months in an attempt to reverse its recent fortune. Whether it can actually do this or not remains to be seen.

It was on August 6, 1991, that the first hypertext markup language or HTML, was used on a computer.

The mastermind behind this is Tim Berners-Lee. He is a London native born on June 8, 1955. His system of links ultimately turned into the internet we know and love today.

In 1990 he created the original software for W3 before it was published nearly a year later. He impressed Queen Elizabeth II, who knighted him for these technological contributions.

The world is a different place due to the internet and the World Wide Web.

Two decades ago we didn’t have the social and political information at our fingertips like we do today.

Gone are the days of snail mail, long distance calls, and friend whom we have lost touch with.

The Web has revolutionized the way people think and the very world we live in, within such a short amount of time. Electronica estimates there are 17.91 billion web pages on the internet.

Any way you look at it, that technology has come a long way in the past twenty years.

If we have made this many advancements in the past 20 years, what will the next two decades hold?

The release of this beta product gives developers and other programmers a look at the newest improvements to the operating system in advance of its actual product release later this fall when it comes bundled with the iPhone 5.

A lot of new features are expected with the new operating system, including tabbed browsing on the Safari web browser, faster access to the camera, limited image editing capabilities and speech-recognition software.

However, this biggest change to iOS 5 will be its integration into the iCloud, Apple’s new cloud computing service that is expected to replace the current MobileMe platform. Apple is hoping to use iOS 5 to better integrate all of its services, such as iTunes, bookmarks and calenders, through the internet, giving consumers access to their information at all times.

This new cloud computing initiative is expected to compete with companies like Google, Amazon and DropBox, which are pouring considerable resources into this new platform, designed to replace the desktop as the center of computing in the future.

Apple Releases the Latest Beta Verison of iOS

Recent mudslides and the storm in June, which killed 28 individuals, have left Haiti residents on edge. Residents are worried, more than ever, about upcoming tropical storm Emily.

Emily is just one of many hurricanes threatening to touch down this season. Unfortunately, the storm doesn’t appear as though it will be merciful. The residential areas it threatens to hit may not be able to handle another disaster. Residents are barely holding on right now, lacking the resources necessary to evacuate. Officials state there will not be any official evacuation until the flooding starts.

Residents, who are in towns that may be hit by Hurricane Emily, are taking all the help they are given. One resident sealed her children’s identification in plastic bags. All the residents can do now is simply wait.
