Wii Users Will be Viewing Movies Soon
Gamers of the world unite and watch movies together! For some time, the subscription movie and television viewing service, Netflix has enabled its customers to go online and watch content through their computers. Those who had the Playstation 3 or the Xbox 360 have been able to use their gaming systems to enable watching of upwards of seventeen thousand shows on their televisions. This ability to watch a new movie without having to go out to the mailbox or running to the store has captivated audiences and that captive audience base is about to become a bit larger.
Netflix has announced that subscribers with a Wii gaming system will soon be able to jump on the instant watching bandwagon as well.
The whole process should be very similar that those using the Playstation 3 are currently enjoying; insert a disc into the gaming console and watch from there. (Those who are subscribers using the Xbox 360 currently need to also have an Xbox live subscription, but may watch without a disc provided by Netflix.)
It seems for a mere nine dollars a month, Wii users will have access to many more films in addition to their traditional viewing methods.
The future of viewing is now.
