YouTube Now Has Video Caption For The Deaf
YouTube has been around for years. It acts as an online portal of media experience. With a YouTube account you can upload videos on a variety of subjects. If you are looking for pure entertainment you can find it here along with political, social and civil debates. It has been the virtual media room that seems to have it all, but not quite. It has had a lack in some areas. One of those areas has been that there is not a facet of the site that is geared toward the hearing impaired. At least that is how it has been, but things have changed.
Now a person who is deaf can enjoy the services that YouTube provides. They have now added video caption. This will allow the person to read what is being said on the video. There is a caption button on the lower right corner of the video. The only thing the person will have to do is click on the CC button. Then click Transcribe Audio. Within moments he or she will be reading what is going on across the bottom of the screen. YouTube receives two thumbs up for making this improvement to the site.
