Apple iSlate tablet update

What is a magic slate? This is the exact question as consumers all over the world are looking foward to Apple’s answer to the netbook craze. Just before Christmas it was announced the Apple had purchased islate.com and thus set the wheels in motion that Apple was in the process of releasing their netbook or ‘slate’.

Now we know the story behind this latest Apple innovation and through this it is being rumored in the technology field that the Apple iSlate could be one of the best that is about to come out on the market.

The iSlate trademark and name was one that was patented by a Delaware based tech company by the name of Slate Computing, LLC and had registered that trademark back in November of 2006.

It had also been registered and was represented by a law firm that is also employed by Apple Computers. Further investigation has revealed that the same approach that the company took with revealing the iPhone was taken with the new venture as both products were shown as brainchilds by two different ‘dummy’ Delaware based tech companies. Come to find out that Apple is behind both of these companies.

Therefore, this explains the name iSlate. Apple is pushing the product as their ‘magic slate’ and the rumor is that it is supposed to be one of the big things to hit the netbook craze.
