According to several sources, Apple will begin shipping their highly anticipated version of the tablet style computer as early as March. Tablet computers are becoming more mainstream these days as the world moves to smaller portable computing devices as a way of life versus the stock desktop computers of yesteryear. Earlier leaks indicated Apple would be producing and shipping at least 10 million of these netbook computers in 2010.
The rumors circulating the tablet divulge plenty of information that corresponds with the current market trend making them sound authentic. The possibilities include a touch screen that will be available in a number of different colors. A multimedia device that will play movies, games and videos all on a spectacular 10 to 11 inch color viewing screen. The wireless device can also be used to download and read the coveted e-books available.
The price of this product is estimated to start around $1000 dollars depending on the make and model. There have also been rumors about Apple renting a large venue in San Francisco towards the end of January to unveil a major new product. Apple is notorious for keeping their new products top secret until they are ready to properly introduce them.
