Google has finally announced the launch of their Nexus One smart phone with the tagline: “Web meets phone”. This is the first phone that will utilize Google’s Android 2.1 operating system, which in recent speed tests has shown to be faster than the Android 2.01 operating system of the Motorola Droid.
