Wohoo! 4th Generation iPhone in April

Wednesday, 13 Jan 2010

New rumors suggests Apple will release a 4th generation iPhone in April. The latest rumors stem from the announcement in the Korea Times stating an insider from the KT company revealed information about the latest phone. KT is the exclusive provider of the iPhone in South Korea.

The limited corporate only release of the phone will be the company’s way of testing the waters so to speak. It will most likely be available to local distributors sometime in June of 2010. KT released the 3GS version in November of last year and sold an amazing 220,000 units in a short couple of months.

The phone is expected to have powerful dual-core microprocessors with 4G technology. A high quality camera is also believed to be included on the 4th generation. OLED display, a video chat function, removable battery and improved graphics are part of the total package. Apple has not made any statements or divulged any information about a new phone being released into the market.

The release of this latest iPhone version will help Apple stay in control of the superphone market. Google’s version, Nexus One has taken the market by storm and is giving Apple a run for their money.
