Assassin’s Creed II DLC Available Next Week
January 28, 2010 Ubisoft game company will be releasing the add-on pack for Assassin’s Creed II. This DLC is the twelfth missing piece of Ezio’s memory, entitled “The Battle of Forli.” It is reported to give access to Leonardo di Vinci’s flying machine to aid in defending the region from the Orzi brothers and to keep a Piece of Eden from being handed over to the wrong people. The second episode, “Bonfire of the Vanities” will be available next month on Xbox Live and the Playstation Network and is the thirteenth missing peice of his memory. The DLC will be available for 320 Microsoft Points on Xbox, which is about $4.00 USD.
Consumers have mixed emotions about this release. Some are claiming Ubisoft deliberately excluded portions of the game to sell them to the public later, while others do not mind paying for the downloadable content because their continued support would help finance the creation of more games of the same caliber as Assassin’s Creed. Although there is much debate in cyberspace about the ethics of not releasing the game in its entirety when it first became available on the market, most gamers are in agreement that the DLC will be a quality product and equally as entertaining and challenging as Assassin’s Creed II.
