Apple Press Conference Days Away, Tablet to be Revealed?

The anticipated Apple press conference date is just around the corner. Rumors have been flying for months about why Apple is holding this major event and what is expected to be announced. The Apple tablet computer will hopefully be the star of the show and provide the wow factor consumers have been waiting for.

The tablet style computer has been on consumer wish lists for several years. A touch screen computer that is larger than an iPhone but smaller than a laptop with all the apps and functions of both devices is a techie’s dream.

Rumors have hyped the Apple tablet computer to such an extreme there is bound to be some disappointment with the new device, if it even exists. Things like 3-D graphics, the ability to run multiple applications at the same time, colored e-reader as well as standard multi-media apps are just a few functions being talked about.

Apple has not said a word to confirm or deny any rumors surrounding their press conference next week. Nor have they tried to stop or quiet the rumors about a tablet computer launch.

If the new device is announced analysts predict it will begin selling around $750 dollars or as much as $1000 dollars in the US.
