‘Leaked’ Apple iSlate Photos! Fake?
Photos of the Apple Tablet have emerged one day before the unveiling of the iSlate as it’s called. Many have anticipated the release of this product but doubts have been cast on the authenticity of the photos.
Designer Dustin Curtis posted pictures of the Apple Tablet on his blog. So viewers see what is supposed to be the iSlate laying on a regular keyboard. It looks similar to a 10-inch iPod Touch. However, critics say the shadows and reflections prove the photos are fake. But Curtis says he agrees but that the shadows and reflections were purposefully inserted to cast doubt.
So the long-awaited photos that have emerged have caused quite a bit of excitement. They look authentic yet fake at the same time. The owner of the photos agrees which heightens curiosity.
It was thought that the tablet would be launched in March. But Steve Jobs stated in Apple’s earnings announcement yesterday that the new products that are to be released are very strong, including a major product this week that they are really excited about.
The iSlate is to launch tomorrow at 10 am Pacific Time at the Yerba Beuna Center for the Arts Theater in San Francisco.
