The M-rated Mass Effect 2 opens with Shepard’s death at the hands of a mysterious, and immensely powerful, alien spacecraft. Fast forward two years later, were Shepard has been given a new lease on life by an interesting new character. Shepard has lost his allies over the two years of recovery, and must rebuild his team.

The Collectors are an ancient race in space. They do not know that Commander Shepard has been found and rebuilt by a man called Illusive Man, a dark, chain smoking leader who needs Commander Shepard to catch the Collectors and finish them off for the good of mankind.

Mass Effect 2 is designed and manufactured by BioWare Corp in Edmonton, Canada. Like the original Mass Effect, Mass Effect 2 is a role playing game. The game is full of action and the characters are developed with distinct personalities.

BioWare is already planning Mass Effect 3.
