Apple iPad is Sold Out
The launch of Apple’s newest product, the iPad, is scheduled for April 3. While it was widely made fun of when first revealed, it seems that it has already had a successful launch before it’s even been released. “The Wall Street Journal” recently claimed that every iPad Apple has in stock has been pre-ordered. This has essentially been confirmed by the Apple Store itself. As of Saturday, all of the standard Wi-Fi only models now state that they will be shipped by April 12, while the 3G models just say that they will be shipped by “Late April.”
This basically means that anyone who has not already pre-ordered the device will probably have to wait an extra week and a half before they receive their iPad. There is one small chance that one who has not pre-ordered can receive one on April 3. Best Buy, the only retail store selling the device besides local Apple stores, will supposedly be selling the iPad at launch. All Best Buy locations with Apple sections will be removing a few Apple demo units to make space for four iPad demo units. As there is a different SKU for each unit, it is possible that Best Buy might even be selling the 3G model.
While Best Buy may have the product at launch, it will more than likely be in very limited supplies. One’s best bet to get an iPad would be to pre-order from the Apple Store now and wait an extra week and a half.

Funny how it was going to be a flop. I am glad I ordered mine.
