The scoops will be served in a cup or cone. This is a great deal considering the average cost of a scoop of ice cream from Baskin-Robbins any other day of the week would be around $2.

The company plans to donate $100,000 to the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation, which raises money to recognize fallen heroes and to help their families and colleagues. Several shops plan to host local firefighters tonight. Some firefighters may even be serving up the ice cream for customers.

This seems to be a big money-maker for the franchise. According to the company, last year these nights alone sold more than 4 million scoops of ice cream.
