Flat Belly Diet
Today’s generation is primarily focused on their looks and appearances. Although having a fit and attractive appearance is what most people want, not everyone has the time needed to go to a gym to work out daily. The Flat Belly diet has been introduced to the public, which recommends eating foods that contain mono-unsaturated fatty acids to lose weight.
Mono-unsaturated fatty acids, also called MUFA are found in foods such as dark chocolate, oils, nuts and seeds, olives, and avocados are reportedly some of the best sources for these acids. The dietitians who introduced the Flat Belly diet have developed a week’s worth of Flat Belly Diet meals and snacks that take less than five minutes to prepare.
Some of these meals include Mediterranean salad, waffles Florentine, hummus with olives and tomatoes, and several other tastefully healthy options. These options are high in MUFA and contain less than four hundred calories each. The diet consists of eating four of these small meals a day, totaling sixteen hundred calories, paired with six to eight glasses of water daily.
A study of researchers followed a group of overweight women who followed the diet for a twenty eight day period. The results showed an average loss of eight pounds and four ounces, cutting nearly two inches off each of their waists.
The Flat Belly diet is aimed towards individuals who want to lose weight but do not have enough time to go to the gym daily. This diet is simply a change in what you eat, with an end result of weight loss.
