Campbell soup company recalls Fifteen million pounds of Spaghetti O’s
Campbell Soup Company has issued a voluntary recall on June 17, 2010 for 35,000 cases of Spaghetti O’s with meat. This recall was issued after the discovery was made that one of the manufacturing plants in Texas under cooked the meat contained in nearly fifteen million pounds of soup. The company has issued the recall for soups produced as far back as December of 2008. The production process under cooked the meat due to a malfunction in the equipment at the plant.
The problem was discovered after a routine inspection of the warehouse was performed and a following investigation. There have not yet been any reports of problems such as botulism poisoning reported.

The recall includes Spaghetti Os with Meatballs containing the code U5, Spaghetti Os Fun Shapes with Meatballs with the code KS, and Spaghetti Os A to Z with Meatballs with the code 4N. All of these codes can be found on the bottom of can.
These products are labeled with EST 4K, and marked with a use by date between June 2010 and December 2011, which is printed on the bottom of every can. These products can be returned to the location from which they were purchased for a full refund or product exchange.
