Google Addresses Justin Bieber YouTube Hack
Justin Bieber has millions of fans around the world but the young Canadian singer appears to be gaining quite a non-fan base as well. Over the weekend hackers decided to treat Bieber fans to a little more than they bargained for when they clicked on one of his YouTube videos. The hackers took advantage of a back door type access into the comments section of some YouTube videos, causing potential viewers to be redirected to various porn sites. The pranksters also started a vicious rumor about the singer being killed in a car accident.
Google received thousands of complaints and quickly disabled the comments section in an attempt to minimize the redirect issues. Google announced they quickly fixed the security flaw and users were safe to browse the site again. Google is investigating the situation further in an attempt to find out who planted the XSS script that ultimately caused the redirects.
The site 4Chan is being blamed for the attacks, but there are several other hacker site groups that were most likely part of the action. 4Chan users and defenders say the hack job had nothing to do with them. The 4Chan site is currently encouraging people to vote to send the 16-year-old heartthrob to North Korea. The young singer had asked his fans to vote on where he should stop on his tour and some folks are hoping to send him to an undesirable location.
Various campaigns have been launched to rid the internet of the ridiculous number of Bieber references that plague the internet.

i hope their asses get caught…. those little kids, why the hell would you try to damage them like that? ooo this pisses me off!
