Facebook Wins Over Google

Sunday, 19 Sep 2010

New numbers are now showing that internet users spent more time on Facebook than Google last month.

The study indicates that, although Americans spent 40 million minutes on Google and its sites, Facebook got the lead with 41 million minutes. This not only includes the Google website, but also their branches such as YouTube.

These numbers show that United States people are spending 9.9% of their internet time on Facebook, almost twice as much time as they spent on the social networking site last year.

Yahoo came in third on the list, with a nice number of 37.7 milion minutes of American’s online time.

These new internet studies were done by comScore INc.
