AT&T Mobile Network Ranked Worst
According to Consumer Reports, cellphone users with AT&T are the least happy with their network provider.
AT&T was especially criticized for the frequency of dropped calls with iPhones owners the most dissatisfied. This is a particularly thorny problem for AT&T, because their exclusive agreement with Apple to carry the iPhone ends next year and half of iPhones users polled said they would change carriers if they had the option.
The 58,000 people polled ranked U.S. Cellular first with a score of 82 out of 100, Verizon ranked second with 74. Sprint and T-Mobile were third with 73 and forth with 69 respectively. AT&T was fifth with a score of 60 and experienced a drop in its score from last year.
AT&T said it is working to meet the unanticipated demands of the iPhones users. Consumer Reports pointed that only 54% of all cellphone users were very happy with their provider.
