French Military Victories Search Brings The Lol’s

The French Military is one that has been hearded for ages. The English writer G.K. Chesterton once wrote ‘that a person would be fool’ to ever cross the nation of France. The French military is one of the oldest armed forces in the world and have had noted military victories in its history.

It’s first major victory was in 387 BC when they were outnumbered by the acient army of the Rome Republic and won the Battle of Allia. There were numerous victories over the English in their infamous border and territory wars. When you think of France in today’s terms you have to look back on the World Wars.

The Battle of Koufra was in 1941 and seen the French defeat the Italians in the beginning of World War II. World War I saw them victorious in the Battle of Chateau-Theirry. The French also played a major part in helping defend their land in France’s most important battle and that was the Battle of Normandy, France.

They were also involved in Operation Desert Storm in 1991 and most recently in 2003 was able to stop an uprising on the Cote D’Ivoire coast.
