Apple CEO Steve Jobs Takes Another Medical Leave
CEO and founder of Apple, Steve Jobs, announced to his employees on Monday that he will be focusing on his health this year by taking a medical leave of absence, but will still act as CEO and be actively involved in major business decisions. Tim Cook will be taking over daily operations until Jobs returns.
Jobs, who has in recent times suffered from pancreatic cancer and a hormonal imbalance, tends to be private about his health concerns so there’s no immediate word on what this leave of absence is for, if anything in particular. He did mention in his employee email that he loves Apple, and wishes to return as soon as possible.
