Verizon iPhone Shipping, Release Date

The much anticipated Verizon Iphone is now being shipped. Existing Verizon customers were able to order the Iphone starting on February 3. The official launch date for the Iphone on Verizon is February 10.

It is not known if the phones that were ordered on February 3 will reach customers before the February 10 launch date, but some customers have received notice that their orders have indeed been shipped.

Verizon customers have been waiting quite some time for the Iphone to hit their network. There have been rumors for a couple years that the Verizon Iphone was just around the corner, and now that it has finally arrived it should be a top seller for Verizon.

Verizon has announced that it will throttle the top 5 percent of data users in anticipation of increased network use because of the addition of the Iphone.
