Google looking to take a big bite from the Apple pie
The last few years have seen an innovation in the number of cell phones on the market and more recently the birth of the smartphone. The standard for the ideal smartphone is Apple’s iPhone. However, many new players have are emerging, trying to take a bite out of the Apple pie. A good example of can be seen with the announcement that Apple may drop Google as the default search engine on the iPhone.
What is taking place is Google has developed a competitor for the iPhone called the Nexus One. Because the company is going to be a competitor of Apple, the use of Google as the search engine of choice on the iPhone has been brought into question. As the company is looking at possibly creating their own internal search engine or signing an agreement with Microsoft to use Bing.
What all of this shows, is that sides are being chosen in a new battle that in the smart phone war. In this particular case, it is going to be Google versus Apple, as they try to dominate this rapidly growing market.

The iphone will clearly conquer every single phone there is.
I just read a rumor that says Microsoft could be introducing it’s own branded smartphone within 2 months. Since Apple doesn’t want to play ball with anyone that might be a competitor, they’ll just have to develop their own search engine.
